要点を話す。

「Cut to the chase.」は「要点を話す」という意味のスラングです。主に話が長くなることを避け、早く本題に入ってほしいときに使います。例えば、「要点を言って！」という状況で「Let's cut to the chase.」と言います。

例文

1. Just stop beating around the bush and cut to the chase already.

   もうまどろっこしいことはやめて、要点を言って。

2. We don't have all day, let's cut to the chase, what do you need?
